Bereavement and Separation Counselling


Mrs Kirk is Peafield Lane Academy's Bereavement & Separation Counsellor.  If your child needs support with bereavement or separation Mrs Kirk is always available to talk. You can contact her in Thoresby Classroom or you can leave a message with Mrs Ryder at main reception.



Addressing Homophobic, Biphobic and Transphobic Bullying Through Sex and Relationships Education


For help and support in the above areas, please See Mrs Walker, who is trained to give an age-appropriate understanding of family diversity, human sexuality and gender identity, as well as the wider social issues which can arise.  She can be found in Birklands Classroom or you can leave a message at main reception with Mrs Ryder.


Domestic Violence Support


Mrs Jeszke is Peafield Lane Academy's  Domestic Abuse Counsellor.  For help and support with all aspects in this area,  Mrs Jeszke can be found in Acorns Classroom or by leaving a message with Mrs Ryder at main reception.


Safeguarding Issues and Advice


If you have any safeguarding concerns (including radicalistion and child sexual exploitation or any other concerns) our safeguarding leads are Gary Walker (Headteacher) and Lisa Evans (Senior TA) and they can be found in school (headteacher's office in main reception or Sherwood classroom)

Miss Walters is our Family Liaison Officer and she can work directly with you at home or in school. She is available Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week from 8.30am-3.30pm. She can be contacted at school on 01623 460366 or email directly at bwalters@peafieldlaneacdemy.co.uk
